  Worst detox program I have ever witnessed. I have accompanied clients to various detox programs in various states over the years, and it is more than reasonable to have to wait 2-4 hours to get in and be admitted.
  However, at St. John's, apparently it takes 10-12 hours to admit everyone to their detox. They barely had any staff, the patients were irritable and getting into fights. Very poorly ran, there is no reason to have people who are detoxing off of alcohol and hard drugs sitting in a waiting room for that long while they get the run around from the staff.
  Also, the security there can barely be called security. They buzzed me through an authorized personnel only door to use the main hospital bathroom for 6 hours, before a security guard actually asked to see my agency ID, to confirm that I was who I said I was and not somebody sketchy. Top notch security at it's finest.
  Administration needs to seriously revamp the detox and rehab admittance protocol. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
