  I had went to Mr Carmine Salon recently, because my friend referred me to him. I had went to get help with my hair loss. Not only was the salon perfect, the employees were very helpful and attentive, always asking if i need anything. They even offered coffee and cookies . Mr. Carmine . himself took care of me . He gave me several solutions. He understood my situation and helped me resolve it. He is very aware of how i felt about my hair. He made me feel as if i made the right choice. He seems like he really wanted everyone to leave with a happy face. very organized and welcoming . Always punctual as well. I have been going for laser hair therapy for some time now. about a month and i already see results. My wife is happy and so am i.

  I have alopecia and have worn a clip-in hairpiece for the past five years. I recently purchased a new piece and I heard about Mr. Carmine's and called to schedule an appointment for a cut and style. There was no difficulty scheduling, and the receptionist made an appointment for me with Valerie, who I was assured had experience cutting a hairpiece. At the time, I asked what the price would be. The receptionist said that would be determined at the time of service, after the stylist had a chance to see me. In hindsight, I should have been alerted by such a vague response.
  Valerie and I talked briefly, after which she cut and styled my hair as to my request. I guess I should have asked how much the cost was then, but after making the trip, I was ready to have it done. after all, how much could a haircut cost? It took about 45 minutes for Valerie to consult, cut and blow out my hair. The big surprise came when I went to pay the bill. I was shocked when the receptionist told me it was $200!!! There should be more transparency in Mr. Carmine's business practices. If I had been told in the initial phone call that the cost would be between, say, $150 and $200, I could have made an informed decision about whether it would be worth it to me to schedule an appointment. As it is, I'm afraid that I can't recommend Mr. Carmine's services, which I believe to be misleading if not unethical in their billing policies.
